Gary Phelps has been in lending for over 30 years. He started his career as an Appraiser Trainee out of college. He was later promoted to a Chief Appraiser. His promotions continued as an Assistant Loan Manager / Underwriter. His career advanced to Loan Manager / Senior Underwriter. He achieved the status as a Senior Loan Manager for the largest saving and loan in the nation He continually ranked in the top 10% of the nation He managed processors, underwriters, appraisers, and loan originators for 10 years. Experience in over 8 counties with diverse issues has added to his repertoire of loan knowledge. He and his offices consistently received excellent customer service rankings internally and were recognized externally by local newspapers. Gary Phelps received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business with his major emphasis in Real Estate, Finance, and Insurance. Several years of Civil Engineering classes add to his education.
As with other aspects of life, change is a part of it. A major reorganization and consolidation with his employer resulted in Gary becoming a loan broker originator to stay within the wonderful area of the Central Coast of California.
